Inscribed 1 W.On the roadside. Inscribed 1 E.by the Calderdale sign. Inscribed 2 W.The stones are 34"H,15"W,and 8"Th. Inscribed 2 E.The letters are 4"+ 4".

Near No 3 stone this looks a later carving.inscribed Widdop Cross and Tom. Behind No 2 stone looking towards Birkin Clough in the other direction of the boundary. Looking back from No 6 stone the pronounced line is very clear. Looking from No 6 stone to Dove Stones on the skyline where there should be a boundary stone.

Stone prostate Inscribed 3 W this stone is five feet tall with the mark for the depth again E must be underneath. Stone prostate Inscribed 4 W.
4 E must be underneath.The last stone from the mark is 24"by 19" which would be in the ground. 		Stone prostate Inscribed 5 W.
5 E must be underneath. 		Stone prostate Inscribed 6 W.
6 E must be underneath.

The letters are i am told apply to a parcel of land belonging to Richard Townley Parker of which the stone is the boundary. 		Then across the moor beyond Dove Stones the stones are replaced by these posts. Until you get to this one Inscribed 16 T F.
The letters again i am told apply to another parcel of land belonging to Thomas Foulds.
21"H,13"W,8"T. 		Then this one Inscribed 17 T F.
this again with the same letters which are on the other multiple lettered stone.24"H,14"W,6"T.
