The Bride and Groom in this wedding photograph are Sugden and Sarah Heaton nee Whitley taken on the sixth of july eighteen sixty two and i assume the others are the Bride and Groom's parents who are Thomas and Hannah Heaton nee Smith, and Thomas and Harriet Whitley, but I know not which, the lady on the left at the front could be the Brides mother going off her looks but this is only a guess. Sugden the groom was born at Ferncliffe which is in Bingley West Yorkshire The bride was born at either York st or North st Bingley and the couple were married at the parish church Bradford in the county of York.
This picture came from Mr and Mrs Trigg of Keighley who were related to Charles William Heaton the son of Harriet.which is from one end of Sugden's family tree.
Explanation,Originally The Hindle's had a a fruit and veg and fish buisness on Keighley market and Charles William went to work for them eventually marrying their daughter Mary Ann and finished up owning the buisness. Mrs Trigg nee hindle was the niece of Mary Ann this is how she came to have the photos being the closest relative.
