This is the garden at Red Syke Gate where their should be three Boundary stones according to an 1896 map, and which have disappeared over the years their should also be one in the wood further down this also has disappeared. This looks like it could be one of the missing stones as it is about the right height and may have been resited as this is not how a wall head would be constructed. The same stone with Red Syke Gate in the background. The stone itself is about thirty inches high much to low for a field wall.
